What is an ERC 30/34/38 printer ribbon?
An ERC 30/34/38 ribbon is an inked nylon ribbon cartridge used in compatible impact receipt and kitchen printers. The printer's impact mechanism strikes the ribbon against bond or carbonless paper to create the printed image.
What's the difference between Black/Red and Black ribbons?
A Black ribbon prints in black only. A Black/Red ribbon contains both black and red ink sections, allowing compatible printers and software configurations to print selected information in red while the rest prints in black.
Which ribbon should I choose: Black/Red or Black?
Choose Black if your printer and workflow only require black printing. Choose Black/Red if your compatible printer is configured to use two-color printing, such as highlighting modifiers, alerts, or other selected information in red. Always confirm your printer and POS configuration.
